Race was fantastic. Course was magnificent. Views are spectacular. Love the people. But finding the results process somewhat disorganised and publication of results delayed.

I felt the organisation was not as good as in past years. Some pink markers had been moved and at least 10 of us went the wrong way. The river crossing was scary and we could have done with some help/advice here. No water at the end and no food. The medic had no basic supplies,

My son had an issue with the marking of the long course; he couldn't find any markings as he emerged from the tunnel, but this could have been related to his very late start because of a vehicle recovery blocking the road. Otherwise, lovely course. The 10km was perfect

First 4kms of route were ok. Race briefing hinted that route might be longer than 5kms, but in fact it was well over 6kms and 6th km was through rough ground with very sharp thorns on bushes. It would have been helpful to have been given that info at race briefing. Several participants thought they had mistakenly got on to 10 km route. Honest race briefings in future please!

Still buzzing after the 1000 Hills Challenge at Nagle Dam this past Sunday πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ What an incredible event! From the breathtaking trails and views to the electric atmosphere on the day, it was trail running at its best. Tough climbs, rewarding descents, and that unbeatable feeling of crossing the finish line. A massive shoutout to KZN Trail Running for putting together such a brilliantly organised event. Everything ran seamlessly, and it’s clear how much effort goes into creating an experience like this. Already looking forward to the next one! #1000HillsChallenge #TrailRunning #KZNTR #NagleDam #WeKnowKZN
