About This Event
Set along the beautiful South Coast, this brand new KZN Trail Running event at Crocworld Conservation Centre offers a fresh and exciting trail experience in a truly unique setting. While KZNTR has explored many incredible routes across the Midlands and Durban, this event marks a continued step towards expanding into the coastal regions.

The course takes runners through a diverse and scenic network of trails, including the flowing Pepperwood Trail that winds alongside the river, before entering the enchanting Butterfly Forest, where the surroundings feel alive with movement. From there, the route climbs to Ocean’s View, the highest point on the course, rewarding runners with sweeping 180-degree views of the ocean and the rolling hills of the South Coast.

Underfoot, runners can expect a well-balanced mix of jeep track and predominantly single track, all of which is well maintained and easy to navigate. The terrain is non-technical and highly runnable, making it ideal for those new to trail running, while still offering a fast and enjoyable route for more experienced runners looking to pick up the pace.

This event combines lush coastal forest, flowing trails, and standout views to deliver a memorable trail running experience on the South Coast
