Organisers give out discount codes for club members, sponsors or early sign-ups. You type the code on the Register page and the discount comes off your entry.
How to use a discount code
- On the Register page, find Discount code on your card.
- Type the code into Have a code?. Capital or small letters both work.
- Wait a moment. If the code works, a Discount code line appears in the Order summary with the amount taken off.
- If the code doesn't work, a red message appears under the box explaining why.
- Carry on and pay as normal.
What the error messages mean

| You have already used this discount code the maximum number of times | The organiser limits how often one person can use it, and you have reached that. |
| This discount code is not valid for this race | It is for a different race at this event. |
| This discount code is not valid for this event | It is for a different event. |
| This discount code is only valid on a single race, not on a package | It is tied to one race, so it can't be used on a package. |
Good to know
- A code applies per person. In a group, type it on each person's card. Each person who uses it counts as one use.
- If a code doesn't have enough uses left for everyone in your order, you are told "This discount code only has ... use(s) left, and this order uses it more than that." Remove it from some people's cards.
- You can't pay with a code that shows an error. Clear the box or fix the code first.
- Using a code holds one of its uses as soon as your entry is made. If you don't pay and the entry is cancelled or expires, the use is given back.
- Other discounts, like early bird prices, age or club discounts and group discounts, are applied by themselves. They show as their own lines in the Order summary.
Common questions
My code says it has reached its usage limit, but I haven't used it
The code has a total limit and other people have used it all up. Ask whoever gave you the code, or the organiser, whether there is a new one.
I forgot to type my code. Can I get the discount after paying?
Discounts can't be added after payment on the site. Contact the organiser with your registration number and the code, and ask whether they will refund the difference.
Can I use one code for my whole family?
Yes, if the code has enough uses left. Type it on each person's card. Each person uses one.
