Every race on RaceConnect is listed on the Events page. Use it to find a race by name, town, province, date or distance.
How to search for a race
- At the top of any page, click Events (on some pages it says Browse Events).
- Type an event name or town into Search by event name or town…. The list updates as you type.
- Use the Filters panel to narrow it down: Category, Province, Date (from and to), and Distance (km) with a Min and Max. On a phone, tap Filters to open the panel.
- Tick Registration open only to hide races you can't enter yet. Tick Include past events to see races that have already happened.
- Change the order with the sort box: Soonest first, Price: low to high or Longest distance.
- Click a race to open its event page.
If nothing matches, click Clear all filters to start again.
How to see races on a calendar
- On the Events page, click Calendar next to Grid.
- The Event Calendar shows races by date. Use the province filter to show only races near you.
How to see past editions of a race
- Open the event page.
- If the race runs every year, the top of the page says it is part of a series. Click the series name.
- The series page shows About the race and its Past editions, with links to old results.
How to follow an organiser
- Log in.
- On an event page, click Follow under the entry price. You can also click Follow on the organiser's own page (click their name, shown as "by" the organiser on the event page).
The button changes to Following. When that organiser adds a new race, you get a New race announcements email.
Good to know
- At checkout you can also tick Send me news about future races from the organiser. That follows them too.
- You can see and stop following organisers under Account Settings, Notifications tab, Organizations you follow.
- If a race says Registration Closed or Sold Out, you can't enter it online. Check the Marketplace for entries other runners are selling.
Common questions
I can't find a race I know is happening
Clear your filters and search by the event name or town. Untick Registration open only, because races that haven't opened entries yet are hidden when it is ticked. If it still isn't there, the organiser may not use RaceConnect for that race.
How do I get told when a new race is added?
Follow the organiser with the Follow button on their event page, and make sure New race announcements is ticked under Account Settings, Notifications.
How do I stop getting new race emails from an organiser?
Go to Account Settings, open the Notifications tab, and click Unfollow next to them under Organizations you follow.
