Entering a group or your family

You can enter several people in one order and pay for all of them at once. Each person can choose their own race, extras and discount code.

How to enter a group

1. On the event page, click Group registration → under the entry price, or Register Now on a race. It is the same page either way.
2. You are added as the first person. If you are not racing yourself, click Not me on your card and fill in someone else's details instead.
3. Click + Add another person for each adult.
4. For each person, choose their Race (or Package) and type their Email. If they already have a RaceConnect account, their details fill in by themselves and they get an Existing athlete tag.
5. Fill in the rest: First name, Surname, Date of birth, Gender, Emergency contact name and Emergency contact phone are required.
6. Add each person's extras, club and discount code as needed.
7. Tick both terms boxes and click Pay R... & confirm.

How to add a child under 18

1. On the Register page, click + Add a dependent under 18.
2. If you have saved dependents in your profile, click their name to fill in their details. Otherwise fill in their First name, Surname, Date of birth and Gender.
3. Choose Your relationship to them: Parent, Guardian, Grandparent, Coach or Other.
4. Choose their race and extras, then pay as normal.

A child needs no email address. Your emergency contact is used for them unless you type another one. A new child is saved to your profile as a dependent, so next time you can pick them with one click.

How to put yourself back in

1. If you clicked Not me by mistake, click + Add myself.

To remove anyone else, click the × on their card.

Who pays and what emails are sent

• You pay for everyone in one payment. The whole order is on your card.
• Once paid, you get a group confirmation ("Group Registration Confirmed") listing everyone.
• Each adult with an email gets their own confirmation for their entry.
• Someone new to RaceConnect also gets an email to set up their account, with a Set your password button.
• A child's emails come to you, as their guardian.

Good to know

• Anyone aged 18 or over must have their own email address. You get "Participants aged 18 or older must have an email address." if you try to add them as a dependent.
• If the organiser gives a group discount, it shows as its own line in the Order summary once enough people are in the order.
• Everyone in your order shows on My Events under My Group Registrations, with Details and Ticket links for each person.
• The same person can't be entered twice into the same race in one order.

Common questions

Can someone in my group pay for themselves?

Not within one order. The person who places the order pays for everyone in it. If people want to pay separately, they should each enter themselves.

My friend didn't get a confirmation email

Their confirmation goes to the email address you typed for them, once the order is paid. Ask them to check spam. If the address was wrong, contact the organiser to correct it and resend the confirmation.

I already entered myself. How do I enter my partner?

Click Group registration → on the event page. The page tells you "You already have an entry for this event" and lets you enter other people.
